Developing new channels for PanzerGlass in a global role as Director, New Channels

A pivotal global role building up new channels

We want to expand our global sales channels and to do so, we are looking for a driven and result-oriented Director to head New Channels in PanzerGlass.

“New Channels” is a newly established team in PanzerGlass.The purpose is to revolutionize the way we bring new products and concepts to new channels globally making sure that we continue building success stories on success stories. Therefore, the role as Director, New Channels is a pivotal role in the organisation.

The Role

In the role of Director, New Channels, you will be reporting directly to our General Manager Retail and be part of a strong team of Sales Directors covering all global markets.

We want to speed up the process of getting our newly developed products and concepts to current and new channels. Therefore, you will be driving and being accountable for the first “100meter sales sprint” of our new product launches into new channels until the concepts are mature and ready to be implemented across geographies and functions.

Your primary responsibility will be to successfully launch products and services to new retail segments on a global scale.

You will lead the way by setting the example and walking the extra mile to create strong results in generating business and ensuring happy customers. We expect you to be “hands-on” and engage as an active part of the sales team. Last, but not least, we expect you to be an outstanding leader, who can unleash the full potential of the strong team and be their sparring partner and coach.

  • ensure that the transfer of concepts, products, best practices, and strategies are done throughout the organisation to increase the success rate
  • lead and build a remarkable team, focussed on delivering significant value to PanzerGlass and the market
  • drive a culture of continuous improvement and experimentation to reach goals - possessing a ‘No is not an option’ 
  • build and develop business cases that can be duplicated globally and steer them through the organisation
  • efficiently qualify opportunities and accelerate the implementation and potential duplication of new concepts
  • work with the management to build strategic plans for going into new channels in global markets
  • motivate secondary stakeholders, such as Sales Directors globally to exceed goals and plans
  • build a world-class team - recruit, train, and develop a global team that can create multiple successes


QUALIFICATIONS – we expect that you:

  • have 10+ years of experience from a similar position developing new channels and brining new products and concepts to the market
  • have a proven track record of delivering sales pipeline through driving new products and concepts to market
  • have the ability to drive cross functional alignment and coordination across sales and marketing teams.
  • are fluent in English both written and oral
  • have strong relationship management skills
  • can juggle many different tasks at a time
  • can work independently, make good decisions fast, and are not afraid of taking on the responsibility
