Head of Order Management & Logistics

Developing, leading, maintaining, and scaling up the business processes within customer service, logistics, warehousing, and order management

We have gathered 4 critical functions in one team to create the best synergies and the most value-adding processes. Therefore, we are looking for an experienced and result-driven Director to lead and develop our new global “Order Management & Logistics team”.

The role

In the role as Head of Order Management & Logistics you will be reporting directly to EVP, Head of Operations, and be part of a strong management team, who are eager to develop our business processes and create value across the different teams within Operations and PanzerGlass. You will be responsible for developing, leading, maintaining, and scaling up the business processes within customer service, logistics, warehousing, and order management.

You will lead the way by setting the example and walking the extra mile to create strong results in supporting the salespeople and ensuring happy customers internal as well as external. We expect you to be “hands-on” and engage as an active part of the team focusing on both strategic tasks, large projects as well as daily business. Last, but not least, we expect you to be an outstanding leader, who can unleash the full potential of the strong team and be their sparring partner, coach, and mentor.

The role is global and you will be leading a team located in both Dubai and Denmark and looking into the future also Asia and potentially the US.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • act as a playing coach for the different team
  • establish and drive a new purchase department
  • develop, optimise and implement processes within the four areas – customer service, logistics, warehousing, and order management
  • develop new global standards / process that improves the performance of PanzerGlass
  • make a detailed financial overview of the costs for running the 4 different teams and suggest improvements based on the analysis in terms of systems, processes, tools, etc.
  • be an active sparring partner to the sales organisation to ensure being one step ahead of all purchase orders and deliveries
  • develop the different team members to become even better than they are today
  • set up goals and KPI for each employee and the 4 teams
  • follow up on the individual KPI’s with your people
  • make sure that we live up to KPI’s within the strategic drivers and the strategic actions

QUALIFICATIONS – we expect that you:

  • have 5+ years of experience from a similar position – preferably from a sales organisation
  • have an excellent understanding of the value chain of a company
  • are excellent in documenting, improving and implementing new processes ensuring commitment from your team and the rest of the organisation
  • are an excellent communicator who can explain the value of the improved processes
  • experienced with robot warehousing is an advantage – as you will be responsible for our upcoming robot warehouse
  • you have experience from an international organisation
  • you are fluent in English and Danish both oral and written
  • you are a manager by heart and lead you people by being a role model
